Greek Garlic Tofu on Spiced Herby Yogurt
Crispy, air-fried Greek garlic tofu served over a creamy, herby coconut yogurt dressing—this dish is a high-protein, dairy-free take on Mediterranean flavors! The tofu is perfectly seasoned and crisp, while the yogurt dressing is zesty, garlicky, and full of fragrant herbs.This dish works beautifully as a main, side, or even a high-protein snack, offering the perfect balance of tangy, savoury, and aromatic flavours.

Ingredients
Crispy Tofu
- 400 g block firm tofu
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Greek Garlic Seasoning Alternatively create your own below
Greek Garlic Seasoning (if you cannot access pre-made)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Spiced Herby Yogurt Dressing
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 clove garlic grated or finely minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Tofu
- Press the firm tofu using a tofu press or by wrapping it in paper towels and placing a heavy object on top. Let it sit for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and place in a bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Greek garlic seasoning (or homemade blend). Toss to coat evenly.
Air-Fry the Tofu
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air-fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
Make the Yogurt Dressing
- In a small bowl, whisk together coconut yogurt, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, grated garlic, oregano, dill, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Assemble & Serve
- Spread the spiced herby yogurt onto a serving plate. Top with the crispy Greek garlic tofu. Garnish with fresh herbs (optional) or a drizzle of olive oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
